Getting to Leysin
How to get to Leysin in Switzerland
Geneva Airport is the closest airport. The train station is at the airport. The train journey takes around 2 hours, is very scenic and follows the shore of Lake Geneva, passing through Vevey and Montreux before you reach Aigle. Here you change trains onto the cog railway that goes up the mountainside to Leysin.
From Zurich Airport the journey takes around 4 hours by train.

The Hotel La Tour d'Ai is
easy to find.
Get off the tram from Aigle at 'Leysin Village' and follow Google Maps to the hotel and walk left on the main road through the old village of Leysin past the Fromagerie (wooden cow outside). The hotel is on the right of the main road into Leysin just after passing through the old village. It is about a 15-minute walk.
You can also take the ‘navette’ bus one stop from the Maison Commune (just on the road 100m from the station) to La Croissee. You can walk from here.
