Kyrgyzstan Faces 2022

This year ISM celebrated 25yrs of expedition climbing in Kyrgyzstan, with a fantastic trip to the Fergana Range in the Tien Shan, close to the border of China.

ISM have always felt it important to keep exploring the virgin summits and remote, little explored mountain ranges throughout Kyrgyzstan.

But the success of all our trips hasn't just been the first Ascents (FA's) of unclimbed summits and exploration of remote ranges, but the many people and faces that make up the rich thread of both the nomadic Kyrgyz culture and life, the country's colourful history dating back to before the famous Silk Road and the expedition members themselves and their shared experiences.
