MSR Overnight Wild Camp
Supported by MSR. You'll enjoy a fun night out under the stars amongst the beautiful Langdale Pikes. You will learn about camp craft, the environment, enjoy some cooking tips and delights from outdoor chef Kieran Creevy and test MSR tents, stoves and water filtration systems.
Make the transition from day walks to multi-day hikes is a great next step to enjoying the Lake District National Park.
A well planned route with even a single night out where wild camping is permitted, makes it into a journey and an adventure you'll remember.
MSR’s chef ambassador Kieran Creevy will be camping with you and teaching a hands-on cooking clinic. Showcasing it’s possible to create an inspiring menu with a good stove, some simple ingredients and a little imagination.
Sample menu:
Dinner.
Pumpkin, hazelnut, and goats cheese risotto. (Vegetarian, GF)
Possibly with wild foraged elements, if we’re lucky.
Apple and date crumble
Breakfast:
Turkish Apple tea
Spiced coffee
Roasted millet porridge with plum and raspberry. (GF)
This wild camp clinic starts -
7pm - Saturday Evening - departing from BC Sticklebarn in Great Langdale (FULL)
